Broken is not a word that brings a warm feeling to our hearts, is it? It usually means time and money for repairs and the inconvenience of doing without. Sometimes, it also means pain and misery. When something is broken, it's useless! Have you ever found yourself feeling broken and useless? Of no value? We have all felt that way at one time or another, and I want to tell you that God uses those times to reach us, to teach us. Have you noticed that we can often hear His voice more clearly when our world seems to be falling apart?

It wasn't until I felt unhappy, faced problems in my marriage, and started to suffer physically that I began to hear God's voice. It wasn't until I was broken that I realized that I needed changes inside where no one could see. We are hardheaded people, aren't we?

Where are you in your journey? Are you stuck? What is the Holy Spirit saying to you right now? I know He is speaking. His passion for you is unmistakable! Take a moment to record your impressions. Write them down! And keep listening, because He's not finished talking to you yet!
